O software do controlador é um programa de design personalizado subdividido em software de configuração e software operacional. O software do controlador executa as seguintes funções:
Controle o fornecimento ou retorne a temperatura do ar aos limites exigidos, forneça operação de refrigeração modulada, operação econômica, operação sem carga, controle de aquecimento elétrico e degelo. O degelo é executado para limpar o acúmulo de gelo e geada para garantir o fluxo de ar adequado através da serpentina do evaporador.
Fornece leituras independentes padrão do set point e fornece ou retorna as temperaturas do ar.
Fornece capacidade de ler e (se aplicável) modificar as variáveis do software de configuração, códigos de função do software operacional e indicações de código de alarme.
Fornece uma verificação passo a passo pré-trip do desempenho da unidade de refrigeração, incluindo: operação adequada do componente, operação do controle eletrônico e de refrigeração, operação do aquecedor, calibração do sensor, limitação de pressão e configurações de limitação de corrente.
Fornece capacidade alimentada por bateria para acessar ou alterar os códigos selecionados e o set point sem a alimentação CA conectada. Isso ocorre apenas se a opção de bateria recarregável fornecida pela transportadora estiver instalada.
1. Ligue a unidade. Aguarde a exibição das informações do controlador.
2. Insira a o pen drive, contendo o software do controlador, na porta micro USB do controlador.
3. Pressione ALT. Tecla MODE no teclado.
4. Use as teclas de seta até que “USb” seja exibido e, a seguir, pressione a tecla ENTER.
5. Use as teclas de seta até que “UP LoAd” seja exibido e, a seguir, pressione a tecla ENTER.
6. “LOAd XXXX” aparecerá no visor. Se mais de um arquivo de revisão de software ML5 estiver na raiz do pen drive, pressione as teclas de seta até que a revisão desejada seja exibida.
7. Pressione a tecla ENTER para carregar o software no controlador.
8. Quando “PULL USB NOW” for exibido, remova o pen drive da porta usb.
9. As seguintes mensagens serão exibidas para confirmar a programação bem-sucedida: “LoAd SoFt” e “Pro SoFt” aparecerão cada um por vários segundos e, em seguida, “Restart” aparecerá brevemente. Em seguida, o controlador é reiniciado.
10. Quando o controlador for inicializado, a mensagem “Cd 18” exibe o novo software carregado e, em seguida, “Pro donE” aparece.

PrimeLINE ML5 Controller software (ML5 PrimeLINE unit models 69NT40-571, 69NT40-575)
The controller software is a custom designed program that is subdivided into configuration software and operational software. The controller software performs the following functions:
- Control supply or return air temperature to required limits, provide modulated refrigeration operation, economized operation, unloaded operation, electric heat control, and defrost. Defrost is performed to clear buildup of frost and ice to ensure proper air flow across the evaporator coil.
- Provide default independent readouts of setpoint and supply or return air temperatures.
- Provide ability to read and (if applicable) modify the configuration software variables, operating software function codes and alarm code indications.
- Provide a pre-trip step-by-step checkout of refrigeration unit performance including: proper component operation, electronic and refrigeration control operation, heater operation, probe calibration, pressure limiting and current limiting settings.
- Provide battery-powered ability to access or change selected codes and setpoint without AC power connected. This is only if the carrier-provided rechargeable battery option is installed.
ML5 Software Loading Procedure
1. Place the Start-Stop switch (ST) to “I” to turn the unit On. Wait for controller information to be displayed.
2. Insert the USB flash drive, containing controller software, into the controller micro USB port.
3. Press the ALT. MODE key on the keypad.
4. Use the Arrow keys until “USb” is displayed, then press the ENTER key.
NOTE: If “no USb” is displayed, wait up to 15 seconds for this message to be replaced with a different message. If “no USb” continues to be displayed, remove and insert the USB flash drive and repeat steps 3 and 4.
5. Use the Arrow keys until “UP LoAd” is displayed, then press the ENTER key.
6. “LOAd XXXX” is now on the display. If more than one ML5 software revision file is on the USB flash drive at the root level, press the Arrow keys until the desired revision is displayed.
7. Press the ENTER key to load the software to the controller.
8. When “PULL USB NOW” is displayed, remove the USB drive from the port.
9. The following messages will appear to confirm successful programming: “LoAd SoFt” and “Pro SoFt” will each appear for several seconds and then “Restart” appears briefly. Then, the controller restarts.
10. As the controller starts up, the message “Cd 18” displays the new software loaded and then “Pro donE” appears.
